My first experience with intramurals in ACT - 2023

My first experience with intramurals in ACT sure was an interesting one, In a good way. There was a lot of options for sports and it really organized although I think they should have kept us posted on an estimate time for when each games will start but other than that, it was great! With the intrams and dance practices, it was probably the most tiring week for me of the whole school year. I got to scrabble, basketball, and the 100 meter sprint. I managed to make a lot of new friends!

                                                                            Basketball

 

I got to play basketball for a bit but was subbed out after since I was not really enjoying it, basketball is not a sport I play and with me showing no motivation to really give a shot, I figured it was better if I don't play as there were more experienced players in our group. Basketball was an interesting experience though.

 Scrabble

Scrabble was really where I shined for the whole intrams, it was super fun despite me never playing it before, never lost a game and I got to realize that nearly everything you think of is a word. During one of the games, I got to go against someone who looked a lot like my friend in USJR, she even agreed. It was a funny moment, lol. Managed to get 2nd place too!

Sprinting:

I could not manage to find any pictures for the 100 meter sprint as of the time of making this blog, but during the 100 meter sprint, I was leading when it started but when we had to turn around, it really slowed me down although I caught back up and got 3rd place. Came home with a medal which is all I wanted.

The whole intrams were really fun although I think they should add more sports like martial arts, rubik cube competition (person to solve it first gets a point and each round has a harder cube to solve) and football, could probably make an agreement with the school across the road for ACT students to practice football in that space they have.
